This is an Advanced intermediate arrangement The Mexican Shuffle popularized by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass on their album South of the Border.

Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder arranged for Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet This is an advanced arrangement of Stevie Wonder’s hit song from the 1977 album Songs in the Key of Life, and his tribute to Duke Ellington.

Tequila by Chuck Rio arranged for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet. This is an advanced intermediate to easier advanced arrangement of the interactive novelty tune first popularized by The Champs.

Perhaps one of Antonio Vivaldi’s most popular works, this is La primavera from The Four Seasons transcribed by Kenneth Abeling for Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet. The movements of Concerto No. 1 (originally in E Maj), Op. 8, RV 269, “Spring” are: I. Allegro, II. Largo e pianissimo sempre and III. Allegro 'Danza pastorale'. This transcription is suitable for Advanced Intermediate to Advanced musicians. It is suitable for numerous performance applications including Religious Services and Weddings!  Movement I. Allegro available separately.

Amapola, Music by Spanish American Composer Joseph Lacalle (formerly Jose Maria Lacalle Garcia) and arranged here for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet. This lovely piece has been recorded by dozens of prominent vocal artists, Operatic to Pop, and instrumentally as well as being featured in several movies. This is moderate level “Tango-ish” arrangements and suitable for general performance and other special events such as Weddings.

Chôro No. 1 (Typico) By Heitor Villa-Lobos transcribed here Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet. Written originally for Classical Guitar this Tango-ish piece translates well to chamber groups!

“La Cucaracha” arranged for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet by Kenneth Abeling. This selection is actually three separate arrangements of the very popular Mexican Folk Song in one to meet any performance need. The first is an easier advanced level theme and variations in 4/4 with a total playing time of approximately 3:25 followed by two more traditional and intermediate level arrangements of the song. The first in 3/4 and the second in 4/4.

St. Louis Blues written by W. C. Handy, arranged for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet, is an essential chart in any Dixieland library. This arrangement is suitable for professional musicians and reachable by less experienced ensembles.

El Jarabe Tapatío or “Mexican Hat Dance” for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet arranged by Kenneth Abeling is a Mexican/Mariachi favorite. This arrangement is fun to play and gives all members of the ensemble a chance to shine!  It is suitable for professional musicians to somewhat more experienced ensembles.  

Must Jesus Bear the Cross Alone? by George Nelson Allen is the Hymn from which “Take My Hand Precious Lord” was derived. Tijuana Taxi by Ervan "bud" Coleman, Johnny Flamingo arranged Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet by Kenneth Abeling. This is an Advanced intermediate arrangement “Tijuana Taxi” popularized by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass on their fifth album entitled Going Places released in 1965.

Irish Folksong Suite is a collection of popular traditional Irish Folksongs arranged for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet. The titles include: 1. When Irish Eyes Are Smiling, 2. My Wild Irish Rose, 3. Molly Malone (Cockles and Mussels), 4. The Irish Washerwoman and 5. Drunken Sailor. This is a versatile arrangement that allows the songs to be played individually, as a medley in the original order, or any of the selections in any desired order. The arrangement is moderately advanced and perfect for most St. Patrick’s Day and other Irish celebrations.

“Georgia on My Mind”, Words by Stuart Gorrell & Music by Hoagy Carmichael for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet.  This is an easier advanced to advanced arrangement of Hoagy Carmichael’s tribute to his home state.  While there are some challenging sections, the tempo and the way it lays should make it accessible to many ensembles.

Dixieland Medley for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet or Woodwind Quintet is a collection of five “Dixieland-ish” favorites to include: “That’s a Plenty”, “After You've Gone”, “Alexander's Ragtime Band”, “Margie” and “At the Jazz Band Ball”.  This is an advanced Intermediate arrangement.
