This an advanced arrangement of Fisher’s tribute to the 2nd City and made popular by Frank Sinatra amongst others.

This an Intermediate arrangement of this popular song and Jazz Standard first introduced in the1936 film, “The Ziegfeld Follies”.

Gymnopédies 1-3 by Erik Satie arranged here for Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet by Kenneth Abeling.  This is a loyal transcription to all three elegantly simple pieces considered to be some of the most relaxing and pensive pieces ever written!  It is appropriate for general performance as well as Religious services and Weddings.

Ken Abeling.  This is an easier advanced to advanced arrangement of Hoagy Carmichael’s tribute to his home state.  While there are some challenging sections, the tempo and the way it lays should make it accessible to many ensembles.

Trio Sonata in C Major RV 82 by Antonio Vivaldi and arranged for Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, String Quartet and Woodwind Quartet by Kenneth Abeling. This piece was originally written for Flute, Lute and continuo and later transcribed for Guitar and Chamber Orchestra and Harpsichord in A Major.  This is a more advanced arrangement but not totally out of the musical reach of less experienced ensembles and may be performed without the Organ. 

Cole Porter’s romantic, I’ve Got You Under My Skin for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet arranged by Kenneth Abeling.  This arrangement is in a “Latin feel” and a good device for learning 2 against 3 & 3 against 4. Intermediate and professional players will both find this chart enjoyable and useful.

This is an advanced intermediate level arrangement of a multi-award winning, modern day movie musical classic!  

St. Louis Blues written by W. C. Handy, arranged for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet, is an essential chart in any Dixieland library. This arrangement is suitable for professional musicians and reachable by less experienced ensembles. 

Blazing Saddles Music & Lyrics by John Morris and Mel Brooks and arranged for Clarinet Quartet by Kenneth Abeling. This is the theme song to the 1974 comedy classic and Oscar nominated satirical western film. While the melodies are somewhat simple, the repetitive background sixteenth notes can make it moderately difficult and a bit challenging.
