Almost Like Being in Love, music by Frederick Loewe and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner arranged for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet. This cute show tune was originally written for the 1947 musical Brigadoon and has since been covered by numerous artists and of course the closing number in the movie “Groundhog Day”.

When the Saints Go Marching, a traditional spiritual arranged for CBrass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet. When the Saints… is perhaps the most well known and most requested Dixieland piece of all time. This is an advanced intermediate to easier advanced arrangement of the Dixieland classic.

Elsa’s Procession to the Cathedral from Lohengrin by Richard Wagner transcribed for Clarinet Quartet. This is an intermediate level piece suitable for general performance and perhaps some religious services as well. An optional Organ part is included to enhance the ending if available.

This delightful song, and timeless standard, has appeared in several films and recorded by such prominent vocalists as Doris Day, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and Barbra Streisand. This is a moderate to moderately difficult arrangement appropriate for numerous performance opportunities and audiences will enjoy this memorable tune.

Ken Abeling.  This is a rather advanced arrangement of a chart you will find on anyone’s list of top ten best Dixieland songs ever written!

Broadway Medley by George M. Cohan and arranged for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet by Kenneth Abeling. This is an intermediate level arrangement of three Broadway favorites to include; Forty-Five Minutes form Broadway, Harrigan and Give my regards to Broadway.
 

Theme from The Simpsons by Danny Elfman, arranged for Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet This is an advanced arrangement but an upper ossia staff with a simplification of the more difficult passages has been provided to make it accessible to less experienced players. This is based on one of the earlier versions of the theme to this enduring Cartoon legend.  
La primavera from The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi transcribed by Kenneth Abeling for Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet. The movements of Concerto No. 1 (originally in E Maj), Op. 8, RV 269, “Spring” are: I. Allegro, II. Largo e pianissimo sempre and III. Allegro 'Danza pastorale'. This transcription is suitable for Advanced Intermediate to Advanced musicians. It is suitable for numerous performance applications including Religious Services and Weddings!

Fugue in G minor or “The Little Organ Fugue is one of Johann Sebastian Bach’s most popular fugues, transcribed here for Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet. This transcription is both fun to play and challenging, is best suited for an advanced ensemble, and is appropriate for both secular and religious settings.

Fly Me to the Moon, words and music by Bart Howard arranged for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet This an advanced intermediate to easier advanced arrangement of Bart Howard’s Grammy Winning song which has been covered by numerous artist to include Peggy Lee, Connie Francis and Frank Sinatra.

Prelude to Act III of Richard Wagner’s highly acclaimed opera Lohengrin transcribed for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet. This is an intermediate advance level piece, for the lower voices and advanced level (double/triple tonguing suggested) for the upper two voices. The transcription is true to the composer’s intent for this universally recognized work.

My Lord Willoughby is Welcome Home by John Dowland. Originally written for two lutes, this transcription for Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet and Woodwind Quartet by John Dowland will be a nice addition to your renaissance library. It is appropriate for general performance as well as Religious Services.

This is a versatile arrangement that allows the songs to be played individually, as a medley in the original order, or any of the selections in any desired order. The arrangement is moderately advanced and perfect for most St. Patrick’s Day and other Irish celebrations.

Ken Abeling.  This is an advanced arrangement of an all time Show Tune turned Dixieland favorite that will showcase your entire ensemble.

Nola by Felix Arndt, arranged here for Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet by Kenneth Abeling.  This is an advanced arrangement of a timeless old-time song dedicated to the composers wife. It is both cute and challenging!  Playing Time 3:30.

Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber from String Quartet, Op.11 transcribed here for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet by Kenneth Abeling. Arguably one of Samuel Barber’s best-known works, this piece has been used in several Movies and TV Shows, perhaps most notably the 1986 Academy Award Winning movie “Platoon”. This beautiful but mournful piece is suitable for general performance, Worship Services, Funerals or other sad and reflective events. While not technically difficult, it is emotionally exhaustive to play.

Mac & Johnson’s “Charleston” or “The Charleston” as it is most frequently referred for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet by Kenneth Abeling, is a bit of a workout. The chart is in typical Dixieland fashion with both written solos and chord changes for improvised solos are provided throughout. The rarely used introduction begins the piece as it works its way into frenzy at the end!  Suitable for numerous performance occasions your audiences will love this staple of the American Jazz/Dixieland library.

This is an intermediate to advanced arrangement depending on the ensemble of the still very popular song created and made popular by the Norwegian Band a-ha.

Basin Street Blues written by Spencer Williams, first published in 1926 and made famous by a Louis Armstrong recording in 1928 is a Dixieland favorite. This arrangement for Brass Quintet, Clarinet Quartet, Saxophone Quartet, Saxophone Quintet, String Quartet, Woodwind Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet features solo sections by all in the ensemble and a fun read for the professional Quartet while still being accessible to younger or less experienced musicians.

This is cute little popular song from the late 1940s about wintertime or more particularly snow itself. The arrangement is intermediate level in difficulty and suitable for wintertime events including Christmas although it is not exclusively a Christmas song.
